About Us

Laharfi is born out of a love for dogs and a passion for design. Established in 2019 by our founder, Harriet Charter, the concept for Laharfi was inspired by a distinct lack of dog accessories that not only ticked all the functionality boxes, but looked stylish at the same time.

We’ve made it our mission to produce the most exciting ranges of unique and trendy dog accessories, but with safety, durability, and value for money also at the heart of what we do. We collaborate with some of the world’s best designers to conceptualise patterns and work on design ranges that are truly exceptional. We obsess over all of our designs and we focus on the details, handpicking the materials and hand-crafting our products to give our best friends the best. A beautiful and functional range of Laharfi products that we think they deserve, and we know they love.

Our passion for giving our dogs the best doesn’t end with our accessories, we also have deluxe ranges of tasty treats for all the good girls and boys out there to enjoy. And we plan to expand our products as we move forward. We’re always thinking about the next product range we can produce to help our hounds look and feel great, and that maintains the standards we have in place.

Meet our founder

From the day I was born, my family tell me I had an unhealthy obsession with dogs. It was my dream after watching 101 Dalmatians at around two years old to one day be best friends with a Dalmatian. That dream came true luckily for me, and Harper is one of the three beautiful girls that inspired the brand Laharfi (Larlei (La), Harper (Har) and Fig (Fi)).

Why did I start Laharfi? Well, my girls and I just love to walk. We walk for days. But I always found that the leads, the harnesses, the seatbelts, and all the accessories we as proud dog owners all spend so much money on to keep our doggies safe - everything was very boring, and very expensive. I thought I surely couldn’t be the only one who thought this, and so Laharfi was born, and from that moment I mad it my mission to work on producing designs that were affordable, beautifully designed and produced, because we spend so much time out on walks, why wouldn’t we want our doggies to look at their best when they run into their friends in the park or the woods? Made sense to me anyway.

Since I had the first prototypes made, and the three girls got to trial them, I knew I was on to a winner. It may sound strange to some, but I could see that the girls absolutely loved their new collars and harnesses, and it gave me the encouragement I needed to carry on.

Now, I’m proud to say we have an extended range of fantastic products, with many more in the pipeline. And following on from that, we have created a deluxe range of doggy treats too. We’re always working to ensure that dogs are the heart of what we do, and I hope this shows in all of products. Made with love, for the love of dogs.
